At Hometrader transparency is important to us so all associated costs with securing your property are listed in full.
Your agent will make sure of this when you speak to them and in addition include all relevant charges.
Pre tenancy
(All costs are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate)
- Deposit – Typically 5 weeks’ rent (per property)
- Guarantor required? Hometrader allows the first one to be referenced without charge.
During your tenancy
(All costs are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate)
- Change of occupancy – £295.00 per person
- Payment on Variation, Assignment, or Novation of Tenancy – £50.00
Post tenancy
(All costs are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate)
- Termination of Tenancy before end of Tenancy at Tenant’s request
Throughout the tenancy and at the end of the tenancy there are other costs that must be covered on top of the rent. These might include:
- Utilities (gas, electricity, water and telephone)
- Council Tax
- Television licence
- Installation of cable/satellite
- Insurance (for your personal and own contents)
- Garden maintenance
- Professional cleaning of the property
- Dilapidations
